The elixir blended cheap Canadian “whisky” with cinnamon syrup and sweeteners. They make everything from the country’s best-selling discount brands of booze (like Fireaball) to the most elite American whiskeys in the world ( Pappy, Weller, Taylor, etc.).įireball’s history, on the other hand, is an invention of 1980s Seagrams. Fireball is a brand that’s owned and operated by the Sazerac Company, which is a massive, privately owned spirits conglomerate based out of New Orleans.
